VALENCIA

Egyptian Valencia Oranges – The World’s Favorite Orange

Valencia oranges are the most popular orange variety globally, praised for their exceptionally sweet flavor and distinctive bright-colored juice that sets them apart from other citrus fruits.

Their vibrant juice color makes them the preferred choice for bottled orange juices, as consumers love the fresh and appealing appearance. Valencia oranges are medium to large in size, with a smooth, finely-textured, and thin skin that can be slightly challenging to peel. They are harvested at peak ripeness, offering a firm, heavy fruit with minimal to no seeds, bursting with sweet, fresh flavor—perfect for both juicing and fresh consumption.

Egyptian Valencia oranges are grown under strict quality standards to ensure their superior color, sweetness, and juicing properties. They are among the most widely cultivated oranges in Egypt and are in high demand worldwide for their dual-purpose use—whether eaten fresh or juiced. Additionally, Valencia oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C, fiber, and folate, along with antioxidants that support a healthy immune system.

NAVELS

The earliest maturing orange

Navel oranges are among the most popular varieties for fresh eating, they are hybrids that were the result of crossing a tangelo and a mandarin orange resulting in a naturally sweet flavor, easy-to-peel skin, and seedless nature.

They are larger than many other orange varieties, featuring a bright orange rind that peels effortlessly, making them ideal for snacking. While navel oranges excel in fresh consumption, they are not well-suited for juicing due to their lower juice content and tendency to turn bitter after exposure to air.

Navel oranges have a distinctive “navel” formation at the blossom end, which is a key identifier of navel oranges. Their primary distinction lies in their intended use—navel oranges for fresh eating and Valencias for juicing.

LANE LATE NAVELS

Lane Late Navel oranges are a premium late-season variety known for their sweet flavor, seedless nature, and extended shelf life. They have a smooth, easy-to-peel rind with a rich orange color and a firm, juicy texture. This variety is ideal for fresh consumption and culinary uses, offering a well-balanced sweetness with low acidity.
