Cold chain & Handling
​
Pre-cooling is essential before transport to slow ripening and decay.
Optimal product temperature is 13°C for green mangos and 10-12°C for riper mangos.
Maintain a closed cold chain throughout the transportation process prventing condensation and decay.

Growing Mangoes
Climate: Mangoes thrive in warm, tropical, or subtropical climates with average yearly rainfall between 700mm and 2500mm.
Soil: Sandy loam or sandy clay loam soil with good drainage is ideal for mango trees.

Mango trees are susceptible to various pests and diseases such as mango leafhoppers, scales, anthracnose, and powdery mildew.
